"People get into their cars and they just don't realize how dangerous they are," said Shawn Cantley, a Kentucky lawyer who has handled many auto accident and auto-related wrongful death cases. "It may seem obvious, but a car is a very heavy piece of machinery that travels at a high velocity. When you get into your car it should be a solemn undertaking, because if you're not paying attention you could end up hurting somebody very badly--or worse."
