Semi-Truck and Car Accident on Louisville, Kentucky Expressway

A tractor trailer semi-truck collided with a car on I-64 this morning. The semi-truck accident happened on I-64 eastbound near the I-264 interchange.

Traffic was backed up in both directions on the Watterson Expressway. Based upon news reports, no one was seriously hurt.

Bahe Cook Cantley & Jones auto accident attorney Larry Jones, who is experienced with semi-truck accidents, says, "Anytime a tractor trailer or semi-truck is involved in an auto accident, it is important to send an accident reconstruction team to the scene to reconstruct the accident if serious injuries or death were caused. Many times, the insurance companies have their lawyers and accident reconstructionists at the scene before the police clean it up."
