There was a fatal car wreck in Frankfort Kentucky on I-64, Kentucky State Police are reporting.
According to reports, a van driven by Alice Justice was westbound on I-64 in Franklin County Kentucky (Frankfort) when it left the roadway and loss control. The vehicle traveled across both westbound lanes of I-64 before rolling over, coming to final rest in the median on its side.
Police are reporting that the passenger, Patrica Mann, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. The collision is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
“This car accident is still under investigation to determine how it happened and who was at fault,” said Shawn Cantley, an experienced Kentucky car accident lawyer. “But, a passenger is never at fault for a car accident like this one.” According to Cantley the family of someone killed in a car accident as a passenger, as happened in this case, has a wrongful death claim against the at fault driver.
